You will meet Ramda inside the Shadow Tower where he helps guiding Frest to find his way back to Legendra. Depending on the storyline you're playing, he will join forces at different times. Once Katmando has appeared, Ramda will encounter him (you can't do anything about that) and sadly looses his anyway undead life. Nevertheless, without his sacrifice Katmando would be unbeatable for you. So don't attack Katmando before Ramda has tried to do so.
